A Dutch Freeze from Dutch Bros is worth 10 WW points. Thats a THIRD of my daily allowance :( Guess they are now officially relegated to to rewards for the days I go to the gym and do a hard core 2 hour long workout. I mean really,10 points. 438 calories, 15 grams of fat. Guess I am sticking with my nonfat sugar free vanilla/caramel (depending on my mood) latte thrown in the blender. Man, 10 points.
On a positive note I discovered that before i ordered one today.

    Yikes! I am glad I don't have the coffee habit. I've got other bad habits, but, sheesh, 10 points for something you drink? No thanks

Welcome Back and Hip Surgery updates.

It's been a "little" while. As in a long while. And while so much happened in nearly 4 years since my last post, I will save all that catching up for another day. One of the biggest things though is that I had hip surgery earlier this year. I've gone through a lot and I have learned a lot too. In the coming weeks I will be sharing more details about the diagnosis and surgery itself, as well as some tips and tricks I learned surviving the time at home while living alone. For now, however, I just wanted to say "Hi, I'm Back, I've missed this",  and share my week-by-week updates from weeks 1 through 10.  January 20 :  I am HOME! It was a super early morning full of anxiety and nerves. Things rolled super smoothly once there. Pre-Op nurse got the IV started. Surgeon in and reviewed the planned surgery and left his initials on my hip. Anesthesia came in and cleared my airway and went over her part. 5% and Goals

I am sitting here feeling the urge to blog but not really having any idea what I wanted to blog about. So I came up with 2 things and now I am gonna share them with you. So when you join weight watchers they have all these goals for you. First 5%, 20%, 16 weeks, 25 pound medallions. And your ultimate goal weight. It took me a while to get to those 5 and 10%. and I still haven't quite gotten to my 25 pound marker. But I know that I need to keep my goals small. So I am just going from 5% to 5%. Of couse each time that becomes a differant number, but that is my goal. You also are supposed to set an ultimate weight loss goal sometime with them, I haven't yet. And I am okay with that really. Because I ahve a goal but I don't. I have a number that is right in the range of all the charts and graphs and guidelines. But I don't want to focus on that number, not yet, adn maybe not all. To don't wanna get so focused on it that I lose sight of the bigger picture, my health. And...

Doors and Bootcamp

For starters, Where have I been? Obviously not blogging that is for sure. I would try to catch you all up, but it has been way to long. So I will just tell you a couple stories from the past couple of weeks. Two weeks ago, yours truly managed to walk right into a door as it was being opened into the hallway. Caught my arm on it (thankfully not my face/head), shook me so hard I had a headache almost immediately. Dealt with the headache for several days (including a trip to the docs for a shot of pain meds), and then the neck pain started. I've had my neck adjusted twice so far by a chiropractor and I might me doing that for a while. Yes it has been an adventure. I started boot-camp at the gym again. It is so much different than a year ago. For starters there are only 3 of us in the class this time. Myself, my friend Jessica and a gal named Stacy.
