One song at a time

I seriously thought about, I really need. I looked at that door a couple of times. I truly honestly thought about quitting in the middle of the workout tonight. Actually I think the first thought came before halfway. To say tonight's class kicked my butt and was rough is an understatement. When I wasn't thinking about quitting I was trying to not think about how I wanted to pass out. But, I dug deep and found a way to power through.

So what got me through? I just kept taking it one song at a time. Couple deep breaths, a few sips (okay maybe gulps) of water, and one song after another I slowly got to the end.

And that's a lot like what the last 4 years have been for me. One Song at a time. One pound at a time. One milestone at a time. One setback at a time. And that's all the last 9 months, one simple yet long setback. Which means I just need to take it "one song at a time" to get my weight/health/strength/body back to where it was.
